Family

Starting a family is the biggest decision in our lives. Whether you're a single parent or have a partner in crime it is the biggest decision in your life! That's what I truly believe.

Yes, there are other decisions in life that requires tons of preparation and hard work... yet the leap from being someone to someone's parent position is the greatest leap of all the leaps in your life.

Someone asked me the other day, when a parent's job as a parent would end... I thought real hard! I thought about the parents I know (including mine) whose kids have reached adulthood... And realized that they are still parents and now even grandparents...

Then I thought about the parents who lost their kids... And realized that they still carry the love of those kids in their mourning heart with all the unestablished dreams and unachieved desires...

Then I thought of parents who lost their babies during pregnancy or right after delivery... And realized that they mourn for the loss and still wonder what kind of relationship they would have or what kind of kids they'd turn out to be if they'd have survived...

So there's no end to parenthood before the parent takes a leave from this life... Therefore, yes the decision to become a parent is the biggest of all... BUT IT IS ALSO THE MOST REWARDING....
